UMI Material Featured On HGTV New Show
UMI recently had the pleasure of providing unique and exotic stones for HGTV’s new show, 90 Day Dream Home. After supplying the material to our friends at Gulf Bay Builders, they partnered with Mika and Brian Kleinschmidt, to help make a local Tampa family’s dream home become a reality. The up-and-coming show highlights the combined forces of Mika, the realtor, and Brian the developer, to help clients both design and build the perfect house from the ground up in 90 days or less.
“We had an absolute blast working with Joe Gibbsons and Gulf Bay Builders on our pilot episode for HGTV. Gulf Bay is one of the top builders in our area and we were excited to show off their quality work to the world. I was introduced to UMI Stone through Joe and everyone at the Tampa Design Center couldn’t have been more helpful,” said Brian. “In fact, I needed a small sample of the countertop for a design board I was making for the show when I came in they stopped everything they were doing to help me find the perfect sample. We are currently working on the full season of “90 Day Dream Home” and can’t wait to partner with Joe and Gulf Bay for many episodes to come.”
Mika and Brian visited the Gulf Bay Builders Showroom to finalize their material selections in preparation for the show. Gulf Bay has a beautiful showroom where they feature displays of stunning kitchens. In the photo shown above, you can see the team surrounding a Pompeii Quartz Cemento Island that is contrasted nicely against the Pompeii Quartz Greylac countertop surround!
This beautiful home features Cristallo Argento Quartzite in the kitchen and Pompeii Quartz Greylac in the master bathroom, both sourced from UMI Tampa and installed by local custom home builder, Gulf Bay Builders. The home brings together the best parts of both coastal and farmhouse design style because its interior is a combination of traditional coastal elements with a cottage farmhouse twist. Due to the great efforts of this amazing team and Tampa community, the project was completed in 90 days!
